FAQ: Do we need to provide extra people to help with set-up?

Nope! Weddings By Mindy will bring all the people they need to get the job done. If you have family or friends who just REALLY want to help in some way, we definitely will not say no! But it is not required. We will also take care of tearing down any décor and collecting and securing your personal items.

FAQ: How many times will we need to meet before the wedding?

Since Weddings By Mindy is strictly day-of coordination, typically we do not need to meet more than 1-2 times. I offer unlimited email/phone communication so usually the only meeting we need to have is about 2 weeks before your wedding to go over the final details.

FAQ: Do you help with the rehearsal?

Yes! I prefer to do the rehearsal on-site, at or around the wedding invite time (ex. if you have a ceremony on Saturday at 4:00, let’s do the rehearsal on Friday at 4:00). This gives us the opportunity to get an idea of what the lighting, temperature, and all around look of the wedding will be like. I will make sure everyone is on the same page and knows where they need to be and when they need to be there. From the processional to the recessional, I will be there to let the wedding party and family members know what is happening and the order in which it’s happening.

FAQ: A wedding coordinator seems expensive; can’t my friends or family help out?

A coordinator is an investment in making sure your wedding day is beautiful & flawless while taking that stress & duty off you and your family. Just like you, your friends & family want to enjoy the day and celebrate with you rather than working your event for you.

FAQ: What is the difference between a venue coordinator and a wedding coordinator?

A venue coordinator oversees the on site staff, to make sure vendors have what they need, etc. A lot of times the venue coordinator is not there for the duration of the event. A wedding coordinator works only for you to make every aspect run smoothly, greet all your vendors, send out a timeline prior, make sure you are having a great time celebrating and to ensure that your vision has become a reality.

FAQ: Can we hire you as soon as we book our venue or should we wait?

As soon as your date and venue have been solidified is when I recommend booking your coordinator. Dates are booked well in advanced and the sooner we can get you on the calendar, the better!
